Living Areas
A sky above the sofa, at any hour of the day.
A living room is where a home relaxes. It is also the room we spend the most waking hours in, which makes the quality of its light a decision that shapes most of the day.
Daylight does something ordinary lighting struggles to do. It changes through the day, and our bodies read that change. Bright, cool light through the afternoon keeps us alert. Warm, low light in the evening tells us the day is ending. A living room with no daylight offers none of that, so the room feels the same at three as it does at nine. Give it a sky and the space also feels larger, because the eye is drawn upward and the ceiling stops being the limit of the room.

Why it works here
Health and mood
Regular exposure to daylight helps regulate sleep, lifts mood and supports mental wellbeing.
A connection to nature
We are outdoor beings who live indoors. Our eyes want to see sky, and a room that gives them one feels different to be in.
A more spacious feel
Light draws the eye upward, so compact rooms and low ceilings feel considerably larger and more open.
Circadian rhythm
The colour and brightness shift every 6 seconds to follow the real sun at your location.
Better days, better nights
A daylight cycle indoors helps balance the body clock, supporting performance through the day and sleep at the end of it.
Sunlight when you want it
Slow moving cloud in the evening, or a field of stars after dark, long after a real skylight has gone black.
Very realistic
So realistic that the only way your friends find out they are not real is if you tell them.
True colour
Ra98 colour rendering across the full spectrum, so skin, food, timber and stone all look the way they should.
All the light, none of the heat
No radiant heat, no UV and no solar gain, whatever the sky outside is doing.
Risk free installation
No roof penetrations, no risk of water ingress and no roof access required.
Fast installation
No waiting on multiple trades or good weather. Most installations need only an electrician.
Light control
Run it from our touch panel, the app, or your own DALI controls.
Fits almost any ceiling
