Bright, cool overhead light lifts energy and alertness, which is what a training space is asking for. It also opens the room up, and in a garage or basement gym that matters more than anywhere. Around water the priority shifts toward calm. A pool or wellness room with sky overhead feels open and unhurried rather than sealed in.
